Tissot Men’s Watch T0015204705100
November
All in all a great piece of engineering.
I’m impressed with the weather trend feature’s ability to predict, the accuracy of the altimeter compared to what GPS tells me, and the accuracy of the compass compared to an actual compass.

A Datejust And A Seamaster
November
When surfing for Omega Seamaster Professional reviews I stumble upon this post:
Having owned both a Datejust and a Seamaster “James Bond”, I much prefer the Omega. Not only has it endured real world diving and some knocks which caused my Datejust to just not date, but the new co-axial movement in the Seamaster 2222.80.00 has kept 5x more accurate time, and seems to improve with age.
The quality is just as good as a Rolex’s, and while Rolex claims it takes a year to make one of theirs, anyone who can read their production numbers knows that just cannot be true.
And yes, I sold my Rolex, as it has become a status bauble that has impostors sold on every street corner in midtown Manhattan.

Omega : More Than Just Watch
November
Omega name didn’t appear until 1894, after Louis Brandt –the founder– had passed away and his watchmaking traditions were taken over by his sons, Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt.
In 1965, the Omega Speedmaster Chronograph was “flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions” as the only wristwatch to have withstood all of the U.S. space agency’s severe tests, including passing grades for extreme shocks, vibrations, and temperatures ranging from -18 to +93 degrees Celsius.
The greatest moment in the Speedmaster’s history was undoubtedly 20 July 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when it recorded man’s first steps on the moon’s surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission.
Omega watches rocketed off to space on many subsequent missions, including visits to Skylab and the historic Apollo-Soyuz link-up of Soviet and American astronauts in 1975.

Heuer Vision and Achievements
November
When Edouard Heuer opened his first shop in a small Swiss village of St-Imier, in 1860, his vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision.
The company’s reputation grew, and Heuer’s first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements:
- the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second,
- the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars,
- the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and
- the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few.
Now TAG Heuer is a worldclass timepiece producer. Also read: Tag Heuer Formula 1 Watch.
